Summer Schools Faculty of Science

Welcome

On behalf of the Faculty of Science of KU Leuven, it is my pleasure to present the International Summer Schools.  The programmes for 2012 will be announced shortly.

Our summer schools provide an intensive and outstanding academic training designed to meet the needs of international master and starting PhD students willing to take an extra effort to familiarize themselves with upcoming exciting science and technology platforms.

Our organising teams have spent all efforts to bring together eminent tutors and professionals committed to share their experience for an up-to-date training. The number of places for each summer school is limited in order to guarantee small class size and individual attention.

As participant you are also a guest at one of Europe’s oldest and top-ranked universities, which is located in the historic cosmopolitan town of Leuven. Therefore, each programme includes social activities, allowing students to take full advantage of their stay in Leuven and experience the inspiring environment created by knowledge, culture, and beautiful architecture.
