Exchange: part of the programme

Several educational institutions from inside and outside the E.U. have a bilateral collaboration and exchange agreement with the KU Leuven.

Some of these agreements incorporate an exchange for tourism studies. Within the E.U., the collaboration agreements follow the Erasmus/Socrates guidelines. Students have access to the part of the programme in English without paying any supplementary registration fee. The programme at the KU Leuven is considered as a substition of a part of the educational programme at their own, sending university. At KU Leuven all facilities for KU Leuven students are available to foreign students under exchange agreements and the university services help at finding accommodation.

The E.U. may provide a scholarship depending on the financial situation of parents, etc. For students from educational institutions outside the E.U., the collaboration agreements offer the same opportunities as for students originating from within the E.U. without providing a scholarship.
